Please be aware that traffic in San Diego close to the Cal Coast Credit Union Air Theatre is often busier around times of the major events, so we always recommend you allow plenty of time to arrive – park and then walk to the building entrance.

From the East:

Take I-8 West to College Avenue (Exit 10) and turn left. Take College Avenue south approximately 1 mile and turn right at Montezuma Road. Take Montezuma Road to Campanile Drive. Turn right on Campanile Drive then left on Hardy Avenue. Parking 6 will be on the left.

From the West:

Take I-8 East to College Avenue (Exit 10) and turn right. Take College Avenue south approximately 1 mile and turn right at Montezuma Road. Take Montezuma Road to Campanile Drive. Turn right on Campanile Drive then left on Hardy Avenue. Parking 6 will be on the left.

Directions to Parking 3

From the East:

Take I-8 West to College Avenue (Exit 10) and turn left. Take College Avenue south approximately 1 mile and turn left at Montezuma Road. Take next left at East Campus Drive to Parking 3.

From the West:

Take I-8 East to College Avenue (Exit 10) and turn right. Take College Avenue south approximately 1 mile and turn left at Montezuma Road. Take next left at East Campus Drive to Parking 3.

Parking:

Event Parking is located at Parking 3 & 6 only.

Parking for public events is located at Parking Structures #3 and #6 only. Parking structure #3 is the larger option, and both structures have 8’ maximum roof clearance.

Parking 3 is a larger parking structure and has several parking spots available. Parking areas are typically open 90 minutes before doors open for an event.

Should money collectors not be present at the time of your arrival you will be required to purchase a pay machine permit for the length of time you are on campus. Garage clearance is 8’.

There is a standing charge of $26 per vehicle, which can be paid on-site or prepaid through the CCCUOAT website.

Overnight parking and tailgating are not allowed in any university parking structure or lot.
Disability Parking is available in Parking 3 and 6, Calpulli Garage and directly south of Viejas Arena.

There is a $20 charge per vehicle in disability parking spaces even with a DMV placard or plate.

You can drive to Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre from San Diego in about 15 minutes, and there’s plenty of parking. Gates usually open 60 to 90 minutes prior to the concert commencing, depending on the event. Please check the showtime on your ticket or contact A.S. administrative office to verify.

SDSU campus has an 11pm curfew, as it’s surrounded by residential housing.

Absolutely no camping, tailgating or overnight parking is allowed. Public transit from San Diego is available by bus or trolley.

Parking areas usually open 90 minutes before the amphitheatre doors when an event is on. If no-one is present to collect your parking fee when you arrive, you’ll have to get a permit from a pay machine for the duration of your campus visit.

Accessible Parking

Accessible spaces are available in Parking Structures #3 and #6, plus some spaces at Calpulli Garage and immediately south of Viejas Arena. You must display a valid DMV disability plate or placard, and the standard $26 charge per vehicle still applies.

Parking Recommendations

If you’re in San Diego, you can take a trolley to SDSU. The Green Line runs from Seaport Village and has a campus stop. From the trolley station, go up to the second level and take the north end exit. You’ll see a path up the hill that takes you straight to the Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre.
